It looks like we have the critical mass needed to start up Rosetta Stone at NBS! Please join us in learning a new language by signing up here and paying ($104.50 per learner ... includes MP3 files you can download to help study while away from your computer), NBS PTO will is allowed to add learners as we go! We can activate you whenever we have at least five more learners to add at a time. By signing up here, we will be able to activate you as soon as we have the required numbers of learners.

As of January 2010, we over 30 signed up, including learners of Chinese, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Spanish, French, and Latin)!

Language choices include: Arabic, Chinese(Mandarin), Dutch, English(American), English(British), Filipino(Tagalog), French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Persian(Farsi), Polish, Portuguese(Brazil), Russian, Spanish(Latin American), Spanish(Spain), Swedish, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

Also, please let us know if you are interested in being a language captain... someone who will take the initiative to organize meetings or outings with others who are learning the same language so that you can practice together. Ideas include visiting a cultural museum or festival, or going out to eat at a restaurant where you can try to order in your new language!

Also, if you are willing to help out with administering the program (Rosetta Stone will provide training), please let us know that so that we can all be trained together and get this opportunity off the ground!
